Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and return the spaghetti to the pot.
  3. Add the marinara sauce, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, black olives, green bell pepper, onion, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) to the pot with the spaghetti. Stir until well combined.
  4. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Enjoy!
