Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    • Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Make sure the chicken is fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  2. Prepare the Dredge:
    • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine.
